Educational Qualification Details:
Sub Inspector (Master):
- 10+2 or it’s identical from a perceived Board or University and Second Class Master Certificate given by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
Sub Inspector (Engine Driver):
- 10+2 or its identical from a perceived Board or University and First Class Engine Driver Certificate is given by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
Sub Inspector (Workshop):
- Four-year college education in Mechanical Engineering from a perceived University or same or; 03 years Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering from a perceived University or Institution.
Head Constable (Master):
- Matriculation from a perceived board or same and Serang Certificate.
Head Constable (Engine Driver):
- Matriculation from a perceived board or same and Possessing IInd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
Head Constable (Workshop):
- Matriculation from a perceived Board or same and Industrial Training Institute (ITI)/Diploma, in particular, exchange (for example Engine Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) Machinist/Carpentry/Electrician/Air conditioner Technician/Electronics and Plumbing) from a perceived Institution.
Constable (Crew):
- Matriculation from a perceived board or same and long term insight in the activity of Boat under 265 HP and Should know swimming in profound water with next to no help and will present an endeavor declaration alongside Application Form.
Required age limit:
- Sub Inspector: Between 22 to 28 years.
- Head Constable: Between 20 to 25 years.
- Constable: Between 20 to 25 years.
Salary Packages:
- Sub Inspector: Level 6 ₹ 35400 – 112400/-.
- Head Constable: Level 4 ₹ 25500 – 81100/-.
- Constable: Level 3 ₹ 21700 – 69100/-.

- Candidates are required to upload the scanned color passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should be without caps and spectacles.
